All-Star Training Club (ATC) was established to provide an integrated sports program for individuals with or without disabilities where everyone, regardless of ability, is encouraged to participate on the field of athletic competition. ATC is a sanctioned Special Olympics organization and is the only program in a five-county area that offers such a unique approach to athletics where everyone is given the opportunity to become a rising star.

In early 2014, All-Star Training Club became the newest member of the United Disability Services (UDS) family. In his new role as athletic director, ATC Founder Dan Lancianese will continue to work closely with athletes, families and volunteers to promote the benefits of fun and fitness for everyone.

United Disability Services is celebrating 65 years of enhancing the lives of people with disabilities by providing opportunities for full participation in the community. For more information about any of our other programs and services visit us at

2014 ATC Flag Football

Flag Football Leads Up to Championship!

ATC Flag Football semi finals were contested this past weekend with two very exciting games. In the first semi final game it was the #2 Griffins against the #3 Warriors. The game changed lead over 10 times before the Warriors pulled off the upset by the score of 60-54.

In the other semi final game, Carl from the #4 Irish picked off a pass late in the game that helped the Irish take a 2 touchdown lead 66-54. But the #1 Knights came storming back in less than a minute to narrow the score to 66-60.

The Knights then held the Irish on downs and had one last shot to tie the game. On 4th and long, Jacob hit Dominic with a 35 yard completion to put the Knights down on the 2 yard line with less than 30 seconds to play. But on the next play Sean of the Irish reached up and picked off an errant pass to secure the win for the Irish 66-60.

The consolation game will pit the Knights against the Griffins. The championship game will have the Irish playing the Warriors. All games will be played at 5:00 pm on Sunday October 5th at St.Vincent -St. Mary Green Street Stadium.

2014 ATC Golf Season

2014 ATC Golf Season

Congratulations to the Panthers and the Bulldogs for being the 2014 Percentage Champions. The Panthers ended up with a 4-2 record that was actually tied with the Rams and Vikings. However, the Panthers win the Percentage title due to a tie breaker rule of difference between strokes for and against.

The Bulldogs won the title outright with a record of 5-1.

Congratulations to the Rams and the Irish for winning the Invitational Titles on their respective days. The Rams won the title on the Monday session with a score of 22 by Tom and Chris. The Irish won the Thursday title with a score of 20 by Nick and Glenn.
