Summer Camp

The All Star Training Club (ATC) is now accepting applications for our
Summer Academic / Sports Camp. The camp will be open to all individuals with
special needs beginning at the age of 6. The camp will also be open to all
individuals who do not have any special needs considerations.  The goal for
the camp is Total inclusion of all populations. Also, the camp will create
enrichment in social, academic and physical awareness. The camp will be run
for 6 weeks beginning on Monday June 22nd  and concluding on Friday July
31st. The times for the camp will be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The location
of the camp will be Weaver School at 89 E. Howe Avenue, Tallmadge, Ohio
44278. Transportation will be made available through ATC.

ATC Summer Academic / Sports Camp is a highly structured program that will
maintain measurable objectives in both academic and physical activities. The
group ratio will be 4:1 with additional student volunteers used as needed.
Each camper will be required to participate in two academic areas:
English/Reading and Math content areas. ATC is requesting a copy of your
son/daughter's most current IEP or at least sample work of their ability.
Progress reports will be sent home at the end of each week and a final
report will be given at the end of the camp season.

If you are interested in being an ATC camper this summer, please fill out
the application in its entirety.

We will have a Scholarship Program available for those students who need to
be part of our camp but cannot afford the entire cost. Many of you may be
eligible for financial assistance through the County Board of MRDD. To find
out if you are all you have to do is contact the Intake department at CSBMRDD by calling 330-634-8674.

You may need to apply with the County first.

Summer Camp Academics
